Sealant
HB Fuller® HL-5180 Reactive Hot-Melt
Our insulated glass units use HB Fuller® HL-5180, a reactive hot-melt sealant that combines the moisture vapor barrier performance (MVTR) of traditional hot-melts with the structural strength of polyurethane, something standard hot-melts cannot achieve.
This advanced sealant chemically reacts with moisture in the air, creating a strong bond to the glass and enhancing the long-term durability and structural integrity of the unit.
